Support Worker – Learning Disabilities – Waking Night Description • Pay rates up to £15.50 per hour (see detail at the bottom of the ad) • A fixed and predictable shift pattern, with overtime available • Company sick pay • Enhanced company pension scheme • Fully paid training, DBS and Social Care Wales fees • Christmas and Easter Bank Holidays double time, others time and a half • A supportive and inclusive environment, with an involved manager Are you a positive, caring and patient person looking for a role where you can make a real difference and help people achieve their desired goals? If so, we’d love to hear from you. We are looking for a Support Worker to provide essential overnight support as waking night staff for a lady living in Flint. You will play a key role in ensuring her safety, comfort, and well-being throughout the night, while always promoting independence and dignity. You will work collaboratively with day staff to ensure continuity of care as she enjoys a variety of activities each week including pedal power, bowling, meeting friends in the pub, lunch out and coffee and cake at local cafes. Any experience with learning disabilities would be great, but is not essential as full induction, training and ongoing support will be provided. However this role does require a female member of staff who is a driver. We are a fantastic organisation to work for: a local charity with a focus on person-centred support. We are a Platinum Investor in People and received a rating of excellent in all three categories in our last CIW inspection.
