WAREHOUSE 4 ON 4 OFF DAYS

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Warehouse Day Shift Operator to join a well-established and growing air freight operation based in the Heathrow area. This role is ideal for someone with a background in air cargo warehousing who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent operational standards. Key Responsibilities • Manual handling of a variety of cargo, including chilled, frozen and ambient freight. • Loading and unloading vehicles, from vans through to articulated lorries. • Operating counterbalance forklift trucks (1.5t–8t). • Picking, packing, sorting and splitting shipments accurately and efficiently. • Building, sorting and managing aircraft pallet stocks. • Maintaining accurate warehouse stock records and completing associated paperwork. • Using warehouse systems to log stock movements. • Working closely with the operations team to ensure smooth day-to-day running. • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' warehouse experience. • Previous experience within the Air Freight/Air Cargo industry is essential. • Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (B1). • B2 FLT Licence would be advantageous but is not essential. • Strong communication and organisational skills. • Ability to work effectively within a busy warehouse environment. • 4 on, 4 off shift pattern 09:00 – 19:00 • Excellent overtime opportunities during peak periods and holiday cover. • 20 days annual leave. • Company pension.
