Warehouse Operative • Location: Basingstoke • Salary: Competitive Hourly Rate • Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative for a long-term opportunity with a growing business in Basingstoke. This role is initially on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent following a successful period. Day-to-day of the role: • Picking and packing customer orders. • Loading and unloading vehicles. • Receiving and booking in goods. • Processing kitting orders. • Maintaining accurate stock records. • Assisting with stock control and stock movements. • Supporting the wider warehouse operation to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on time. • Maintaining excellent housekeeping and health & safety standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Previous warehouse experience is essential. • Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties. • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Good attention to detail and organisational skills. • Reliable, hardworking, and able to work to deadlines. • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office. • Desirable: • Full UK Driving Licence. • Experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment. • Knowledge of quality management systems. • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. • Valid Reach Truck Licence.
