Warehouse Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join a busy and fast-paced warehouse team. This is a key role responsible for the receipt, inspection, and accurate processing of inbound goods to ensure stock is handled efficiently and meets company standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, logistics, or goods-in experience who is looking to develop within a growing organisation. Warehouse Operative responsibilities: • Receiving and booking in deliveries using warehouse systems • Unloading goods safely and efficiently (manual handling required) • Checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes • Inspecting goods for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues • Accurately labelling and storing stock in designated locations • Updating stock systems and maintaining accurate inventory records • Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment • Following all health & safety procedures at all times Skills & experience required: • Previous experience as a warehouse operative / goods in / inbound operative (preferred but not essential) • Good attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Basic IT or warehouse management system knowledge • Strong team player with a positive attitude • Physically fit and able to handle manual work • Forklift licence (desirable but not essential) Wild Recruitment Ltd T/A First Recruitment Services is acting as an employment agency in relation to this vacancy.
