WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (FLT COUNTERBALANCE LICENCE REQUIRED) – LEEDS People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative (FLT Counterbalance Licence Required) – Leeds to join our well-established client based in Leeds. This role will suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Counterbalance Driver, Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Driver, Warehouse Assistant, or Goods In Operative. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 08:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay • £13.70 per hour Benefits As a Warehouse Operative/Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will receive: • Ongoing position • Weekly pay • Stable working hours • Established company • Friendly team environment • Free on-site parking Day-to-Day Duties As a Warehouse Operative/Counterbalance FLT Driver, your duties will include: • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently • Loading and unloading vehicles • Moving stock throughout the warehouse using FLT equipment • Picking and preparing customer orders for despatch • Manual handling of products and materials • Supporting goods in and goods out operations • Completing stock movements and replenishment tasks • Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: • A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT Licence • Previous warehouse experience • Comfortable with manual handling duties • Good reliability and work ethic • Ability to work effectively within a team • Strong attention to detail • Good communication skills Desirable Experience • Previous experience working as a Warehouse Operative • Experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment • Experience working within goods in, goods out, or distribution operations Training Provided • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply Apply today by clicking below.
