Warehouse Operative

Isleworth based flooring wholesaler is looking for a new member to join their team. You would be part of a small, versatile crew and would be required to work in different areas of the warehouse, performing a variety of tasks, so no day will be a dull day. The position is full time and permanent. This position includes a requirement to work two Saturdays out of every four, on a rotating basis. Usual working hours are 07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday and 07:00 - 14:00 when working on Saturday. The job can be fairly physical, so you have to be reasonably fit. Van driving experience and/or reach truck forklift licence would constitute advantages for prospective applicants. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: • Load and unload a variety of flooring related items into and from vehicles • Prepare orders for customers and help load them into their vehicle • Maintain the warehouse clean and tidy • Assist customers and colleagues • Use or learn to use reach truck forklifts • Occasionally go out for deliveries in a long wheelbase van, if you have a valid driving licence To qualify for the job, you need to have: • Good command of the English language • Ability to work unsupervised • Good accuracy and organisational skills • Good work ethic and be reliable • A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills • Right to work in the UK What we offer: • Good rates of starting and ongoing pay • Friendly and stable work environment • 28 days paid annual leave • NEST pension • Real opportunities to advance within a growing company No agencies, please.
