Warehouse Operative

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Partridge Green on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, including goods-in processes, stock control, maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment, updating stock systems, unloading deliveries, and ensuring stock is stored accurately. Key Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative: • Receive, inspect, and book in goods, maintaining accurate stock records • Process subcontractor-manufactured assemblies and prepare component kits • Unload, store, and move stock safely within the warehouse • Maintain high standards of warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping • Carry out stock checks and support inventory control activities • Assist with packing, dispatch, and the timely fulfilment of customer orders • Support basic production and assembly tasks where required • Follow health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment Requirements for the Warehouse Operative: • Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, goods-in, or stock control role • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Good organisational and time management skills • Ability to handle and move stock and materials safely • Basic computer skills for stock booking and inventory systems • Flexible approach and willingness to support other operational areas when required.
