Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver Bristol Reed are representing a leading logistics and warehousing business that is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join its busy operation in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of service, safety, and accuracy. Working Hours 37.5 hours per week Shift Pattern: • Week 1: 05:00 – 13:30 • Week 2: 10:30 – 19:00 The Role As a Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of customer goods, ensuring all warehouse activities are completed accurately and within required timescales. Key Responsibilities • Handle and process customer goods within agreed timeframes • Operate as an effective member of the warehouse team • Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and company procedures • Follow special handling instructions detailed on documentation • Complete all warehouse documentation accurately and efficiently • Ensure compliance with local legislative requirements and company policies • Use warehouse scanning systems and handheld devices • Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail • Assist with loading and unloading activities, including manual handling of loose cargo • Support operational requirements as directed by management About You To be successful in this role, you will have: • Previous warehouse experience • A valid FLT licence • Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse environment • Experience using warehouse scanning systems • Basic computer and Android device knowledge • Strong attention to detail • Good timekeeping and reliability • Flexibility to work alternating shift patterns • The physical capability to undertake manual handling duties Desirable • ADR / Hazardous Goods awareness • DBS/CRB clearance • A verifiable 5-year work history Benefits • Permanent full-time opportunity • Stable and growing business • Supportive team environment • Ongoing training and development opportunities If you are an experienced Warehouse Operative with an FLT licence and are looking for your next opportunity in Bristol, we'd love to hear from you.
