Warehouse Operative

Job Purpose We are looking for a reliable Logistics Operative to join our warehouse team. You will manage the daily flow of inventory, from receiving incoming shipments to preparing outgoing orders. Job Title:Warehouse Operative Location: Shrewsbury SY1 3NX Type: Temp ongoing Pay rate:£13.44/hr Shifts: Days Mon-Thu : 7:30 am - 5:30 pm Key Responsibilities Goods In: Unload, check, and log incoming deliveries. Goods Out: Pick, pack, and load orders for dispatch. Scanning: Use handheld scanners to track stock movements and update the inventory system. Stock Control: Organise stock, put items away, and assist with regular inventory counts. Safety: Keep the warehouse clean and follow safety rules at all times. Requirements Experience working in a warehouse or stores environment. Proven ability to use handheld scanners and digital inventory systems. Good attention to detail and physical fitness for manual handling. Reliability and a strong work ethic.
