Warehouse Operative (counterbalance licence) • Location: Sittingbourne • Contract: Permanent • Annual Salary: £29,564 • Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4pm; Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Join our client's team as a Warehouse Operative and play a crucial role in the efficient packing and handling of goods. This position requires a proactive individual with a valid Counterbalance licence who can contribute to the smooth operations of our warehouse. Day-to-day of the role: • Operate counterbalance forklifts to move and manage stock within the warehouse. • Load and unload deliveries efficiently, ensuring all goods are checked and stored correctly. • Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations. • Manage inventory and ensure accurate record-keeping. • Perform regular stock checks and update the warehouse management system accordingly. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in a warehouse environment. • Must possess a valid Counterbalance licence. • Good physical fitness, capable of handling manual tasks. • Attention to detail and reliability in handling assigned tasks.
