Warehouse Operative Location: Tonbridge Job Type: Permanent Salary: £30,000 per annum Working Hours: Monday to Friday, either 7:30am–5:00pm or 12:30pm–10:00pm Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary, weekday-only shifts, and a stable working environment? We are recruiting for 2 Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and growing operation in Tonbridge. As part of the warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment where teamwork, productivity, and attention to detail are highly valued. Key Responsibilities • Pick customer orders using handheld scanners. • Transport picked items to the packing area using warehouse trolleys. • Pack, seal, and label orders ready for dispatch. • Assist with loading and unloading lorries. • Operate forklifts where required. • Work towards warehouse productivity targets of: • 40 picks per hour • 55 packs per hour • Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment. What We're Looking For • Previous warehouse experience is essential. • Comfortable using handheld scanning devices. • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. • Must have safety boots and high-visibility clothing. • Strong work ethic and a positive team-focused attitude. Desirable Skills • Counterbalance Forklift Licence. • Reach Truck Forklift Licence. • Previous forklift operating experience.
