Warehouse Operative – Fixed PM Shift - Warehouse Operative – Islip, Kettering (NN14 3JW) People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our well-established client based in Kettering / Islip (NN14 3JW). You will be working Kettering/Islip. This role would suit candidates who have previously worked as a Warehouse Operative, Order Picker, or Picker Packer, as well as those with experience as a Warehouse Worker, Logistics Operative, or Distribution Operative. Shifts: • Fixed AM shift - Tuesday - Saturday - 06:00 - 14:00 • Fixed PM shift – Sunday - Thursday 14:00 – 22:00 • Fixed PM Shift - Tuesday - Saturday: 14:00 – 22:00 Rates of Pay: • PM Shift: Monday to Friday: £14.74 per hour • AM Shift: Monday to Friday: £13.40 per hour • Saturday and Sunday: £17.76 per hour Benefits: As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive: • Long-term ongoing work with permanent opportunities available • Excellent hourly rates including a thirty per cent weekend uplift • Regular fixed shift pattern • Career progression opportunities into Team Leader and Supervisor positions • Supportive on-site management team • Free access to an on-site gym • Discounted canteen serving hot and cold food • Free tea and coffee • Break areas with pool tables and table football • Regular competitions and surveys through the company app • FLT and LLOP training opportunities Day-to-Day Duties: As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles • Sorting and placing stock onto pallets and rails • Picking goods using LLOP equipment in line with KPI targets • Preparing and completing warehouse orders for dispatch • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health and safety • Operating LLOP vehicles safely and efficiently • Lifting and carrying products weighing up to fifteen kilograms • Supporting warehouse operations as required Essential Skills: To be successful as a Warehouse Operative, you will need: • Previous warehouse experience is essential • LLOP experience is desirable but not essential • Own reliable transport due to site location and shift times • Ability to work full-time fixed PM shifts • Basic English and numeracy skills • Physically fit and comfortable lifting up to fifteen kilograms • Flexibility to work additional hours when required • Ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test and basic English and Numeracy Test • Proof of Right to Work in the UK Training Provided: • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: Apply today to join a friendly team offering excellent facilities, competitive pay, and long-term career opportunities.
