Warehouse OperatorLocation: COTY, Ashford Plant, TN25 4AQ Contract Type: Full-Time - Permanent Hours: Weekly rotation of: Early: Mon - Thurs 6am-2pm & Fri - 6am-12:30pm Late: Mon - Thurs 2pm - 10pm & Fri 12pm - 7pm The RoleWe are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our fast-paced operations team in Ashford. In this role, you will be the backbone of our distribution process. You will ensure that goods are moved, picked, and packed efficiently while maintaining the absolute highest standards of health, safety, and quality. Key Responsibilities • Inbound & Outbound Logistics: Receive finished goods, book in raw materials/components, load distribution vehicles, and handle production returns. • MHE Operation: Drive Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) and use Radio Data Terminals (RDT) to safely pick and put away orders. • Inventory & Quality Control: Perform system location queries, investigate order status errors, sample raw materials to prevent contamination, and report any system anomalies. • Safety First: Actively follow and champion all company safety procedures, including COSHH, PPE usage, manual handling, and equipment checks. Maintain a pristine, hazard-free workspace. What We Are Looking For • Experience: Proven experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. • Technical Skills: An Electric Pallet Truck and/or Stacker Truck licence (or equivalent experience) is highly preferred. electric pallet or stacker trucks • Systems: Familiarity with SAP or any warehouse software experience • Attributes: High attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a team-first mentality.
