Job description

Our very lovely clients in Wokingham are currently looking for a new Warehouse Production Assistant to join their friendly team. The Warehouse Production Operative is responsible for supporting daily warehouse and production activities, ensuring customer orders are assembled, produced, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. The role requires adherence to quality standards, health and safety procedures, productivity targets, and company operating processes. The successful candidate will contribute to a safe, organised, and productive working environment while helping the business meet customer service and operational objectives. Key Responsibilities Production & Assembly • Assemble, kit, personalise, and package products according to customer specifications and work instructions. • Operate production equipment and warehouse machinery safely and efficiently. • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process. • Ensure finished products meet company and customer quality standards. • Report production issues, shortages, or defects to supervisors promptly. Warehouse Operations • Receive, unload, and store incoming goods. • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and within required deadlines. • Prepare shipments for dispatch using approved packaging methods. • Maintain accurate stock handling and inventory transactions. • Assist with stock counts and inventory audits as required. Skills & Experience • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, manufacturing, or fulfilment environment. • Ability to follow work instructions and procedures accurately. • Good attention to detail. • Basic numeracy and literacy skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team. • Flexible approach to workload and priorities. Salary is between £24,785 and £25,000 Working Hours Working Days – Monday to Friday Working Hours are 08:30 to 17:00 or 09:00 to 17:30
