Wash Operative

Job Advertisement: Wash Operative Location: Hartshill Hours: Full-time, Permanent – Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week Reporting to: Team Leader About the Role We are currently seeking a Wash Operative to join our team at our Hartshill site. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning trailers, vehicles, and factory transport to a high standard for daily use and MOT preparation, while ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed at all times. This is a hands-on, site-based role suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Key Responsibilities • Clean the inside and outside of trailers, vehicles, and factory transport to a high standard • Tip and clean ReFood (food waste) bins • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the wash bay area • Carry out general hygiene and housekeeping duties within the garage • Support site operations with ad-hoc duties as required by management • Work safely at all times, following health and safety procedures What We’re Looking For Essential: • Punctual, reliable, and hardworking • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Good attention to detail • Conscientious approach with a positive work ethic • Ability to prioritise workload and escalate issues when necessary Desirable: • Previous experience working in a factory or yard environment Working Environment • Yard / site-based role • Interaction with drivers, operatives, team leaders, site staff, and the transport department What We Offer • Full-time, permanent employment • Stable Monday to Friday working hours • Supportive team environment • Training and development opportunities where required If you are motivated, dependable, and take pride in delivering high standards of work, we would love to hear from you.
