Water Mains Laying Trainer / Water Mains Instructor / Water Mains Tutor / Water Mains Assessor / Mains Layer / Water Mains Layer / Utilities Engineer / Civils Operative (Water) UK Wide (home-based with travel) £45,000 + Car Allowance Monday to Friday I’m working with a training provider who are looking to bring in a Water Mains Laying Trainer to support delivery across their programmes. The role • Deliver water mains laying training to apprentices and existing operatives • Teaching areas focused on mains installation, pipe laying, repairs, reinstatement and utilities standards • Support both initial training and upskilling programmes • Deliver a mix of classroom and practical-based sessions • Travel to client sites across the UK as required • Support learners through training, assessments and progression What they’re looking for • Strong background in water mains laying / utilities / civils • Open to trainers or experienced mains layers / operatives looking to move into training • Experience mentoring, coaching or supporting others beneficial • Teaching / assessing qualifications beneficial but not essential (can be supported) • Comfortable delivering to groups and representing the provider on client sites • Willingness to travel nationwide What’s on offer • £45,000 salary • Car allowance • Monday to Friday working pattern • Opportunity to move into or develop within training with full support Good opportunity for someone from a utilities or civils background looking to step into training, or an existing trainer wanting a broader UK-wide role.
