MIG Welder Are you a MIG Welder looking for your next contract opportunity? Do you have experience welding mild steel and producing high-quality work to engineering drawings? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. Our client, a well-established engineering and manufacturing business, is seeking a MIG Welder to join their team in Nottingham on an initial 2-month contract, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will have a strong fabrication and welding background, experience working with mild steel, and the ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. MIG Welder 2-Month Contract (Potential to Extend) Monday to Friday Nottingham MIG Welder Job Description • Carry out MIG welding on mild steel components to engineering specifications • Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols • Assemble and weld fabricated parts to a high standard of quality • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and dimensional requirements • Perform basic fabrication tasks where required • Maintain a safe and organised working environment in line with health and safety procedures • Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet production deadlines • Carry out routine maintenance and care of welding equipment • Identify and report any quality or production issues promptly • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team MIG Welder Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications • Proven experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing or fabrication environment • Strong experience welding mild steel • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship • Experience using workshop tools and fabrication equipment • Good understanding of health and safety procedures within a manufacturing environment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable, motivated, and able to meet production deadlines If you, or anyone you know are interested in the role, click apply or send your CV to .
