Description
• Manage and grow relationships with department stores and independents to drive sales performance.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of products to wholesale clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to optimise product offerings and promotional strategies.
• Monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with wholesale partners to secure favourable terms.
• Attend industry events and trade shows to represent the company and expand the client network.
• Dotted line management of an account executive.
Profile
A successful Wholesale Manager should have:
• Proven experience managing luxury department stores i.e. Harrods, Selfridges and a network of buyers.
• Experience working in premium fashion, preferably menswear.
• A strong understanding of wholesale operations and client relationship management.
• Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and drive strategic decisions.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in sales forecasting and performance monitoring tools.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities and solving challenges.
• Ability to travel nationally for work.
Job Offer
• Annual salary of £65,000-£75,000
• Additional 10% performance-based bonus.
