Elevation Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Winding Operative on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Bradford. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn how to set up and operate automated machinery alongside this role.This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled production team where quality, precision and attention to detail are essential. Job Role: Winding Operative Location: Bradford Hourly Rate: £14.28 per hour Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm / Friday: 7:00am – 12:30pm The Role As a Winding Operative, you will be responsible for producing high-quality components to exact specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent concentration, a high level of manual dexterity, and a meticulous approach to your work. Key duties include: • Winding stainless steel coils to specification • Spot welding components • Carrying out quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process • Using measuring equipment such as tape measures • Maintaining high standards of health, safety and housekeeping We're looking for candidates who: • Have excellent attention to detail • Possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination • Can maintain a high level of concentration during repetitive, precision-based tasks • Have previous manufacturing or production experience (preferred) • Are reliable, hardworking and take pride in producing quality work Benefits • Competitive hourly rate of £14.28 • Monday to Friday days with an early finish every Friday • Standard workplace pension • 33 days annual leave • Christmas shutdown • Opportunity to join a stable and supportive manufacturing business If you're looking for a permanent days-based role where precision and quality are valued, we'd love to hear from you.
