Role: WIP Billing/Revenue Accountant

VisionFR is recruitinga Contract WIP Billing/Revenue Accountant on behalf of a creative agency. It is envisaged that the role will be for 2 months. The primary focus is supporting the Account management teams by delivering accurate and timely project finance management data and ensuring the finance side runs smoothly. This role is also responsible for supporting on the month-end management accounts and accurate cashflow forecasting. {Paprika is an essential Skill for the role. 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities of the WIP Billing/Revenue Accountant:
• Monitor and manage weekly Work in Progress (WIP) balances across the group
• Manage client billing and invoicing, including credit assessments and negotiating appropriate credit terms
• Prepare project-level cashflow forecasts and support wider group cashflow management
• Reconcile and close projects, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting
• Manage debtor balances and support effective credit control
• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Train new starters on Paprika software and internal finance processes
Key skills and requirements of the WIP Billing/Revenue Accountant:
• Excellent communication skills – written and spoken
• Ability to develop trusted relationships with other departments and provide consistently reliable, trusted, project finance support
• Paprika software
• Cashflow experience
• Worked in a similar role within a creative agency
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks, particularly where deadlines (
• Organised and diligent, with a discerning eye and attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Adaptable and capable of managing changing priorities
