Workshop Controller Location:Llandudno Salary: £36,000 Basic | £41,000 OTE + Paid Overtime Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:30pm | No Weekends Richard Abson Group are currently supporting a well-established main dealership in Llandudno in their search for an experienced Workshop Controller. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, high-performing dealership where you will play a pivotal role in driving workshop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Offering a genuine Monday to Friday role with absolutely no weekend working, this position provides an excellent work-life balance alongside a rewarding bonus structure. The RoleAs Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the workshop on a day-to-day basis. You will allocate work effectively, manage technician workflow, and ensure all repairs and servicing are completed to the highest standard and within agreed timescales. You will oversee a team of 12 Technicians and work closely with 3 Service Advisors to ensure excellent communication, efficient workflow management, and a consistently high level of customer service. Key Responsibilities • Plan and manage the daily workload of Technicians to maximise efficiency. • Ensure all servicing and repair work is completed accurately and on time. • Support Service Advisors with technical input and customer updates. • Monitor workshop productivity, performance, and efficiency targets. • Accurately record Technician hours and workshop activity. • Produce technical reports and support repair recommendations. • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction. The Package • Basic Salary: £36,000 • On-Target Earnings: £41,000 • OTE is earned through workshop productivity and customer satisfaction performance. • Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:30pm • No weekend working – enjoy every weekend off. • Paid overtime available. The Ideal Candidate • Previous experience as a Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or Workshop Supervisor. • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills. • Experience within a main dealership environment is highly desirable. • Ability to manage a fast-paced workshop and motivate a team. • Strong focus on efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
