Yard Operative

Job Title: Yard Operative Location: Sittingbourne Contract Type: Temporary contract for two months, with the potential of extension or to go permanent Salary: £12.71 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Benefits: Weekly pay, up to 28 days annual leave, free on-site parking, access to online benefits hub! I’m seeking a dedicated and reliable Plant Yardman for my client to assist in the yard / workshop. This role involves supporting various operations including cleaning plant machinery returned from site and any other general duties that arise. Key Responsibilities: • Assist in loading and unloading plant and materials from lorries. • Keeping inventory of plant coming in and out of yard. • Assist cleaning plant and cabins. • Assist with deliveries of vehicles / parts uplift etc. • General housekeeping / tidying. What We’re Looking For: • Previous yard experience is highly desired. • Must have strong organisational and time keeping skills. • Must be physically fit. • Previous experience with heavy plant is advantageous.
