Year 5 Teacher - Blackpool

Your new company Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join a supportive school environment where high-quality teaching and learning are at the heart of everything they do. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a Year 5 class, helping pupils to build confidence, develop key skills and achieve their full potential as they prepare for the transition into upper Key Stage 2. Your new role As a Year 5 Teacher, you will: • Plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum. • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive. • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, implementing strategies to support achievement. • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents to support learning and development. • Contribute positively to the wider school community and school improvement initiatives. • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development. What you'll need to succeed • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5. • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements. • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills. • The ability to motivate, inspire and engage learners of varying abilities. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. • Strong communication and organisational skills.
