Job description

£30,000 plus annual bonus (Circa £3000 to £6000) • Autonomous role with the opportunity to run your own building and create an amazing experience for the student residents. • Monday to Friday with occasional/ad hoc weekend work when required • 40 hour week • 28 days holiday plus bank holidays • Previous experience from PBSA/Student accommodation, rental living, hospitality/hotels or community management roles within property. • Flexible role so would work well for a parent returner or experienced and driven individual who wants the security of a consistent and secure career at this level. Role Purpose The Accommodation/Community Manager will lead the day-to-day resident experience at a 70-bed purpose-built student accommodation site, ensuring the building is welcoming, well managed and professionally presented at all times. The role will focus on building positive relationships with residents, visitors, and university accommodation contacts, while supporting occupancy, customer service and site promotion. Key Responsibilities •Act as the main point of contact for residents, visitors and prospective tenants. •Meet and greet visitors in a professional and approachable manner. •Conduct site tours and show prospective residents around the accommodation. •Support diary management, appointments and booking arrangements. •Build strong relationships with residents to encourage a positive community atmosphere. •Work with marketing support to build excitement about any seasonal social events being run for students. •Respond to enquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and via phone or email. •Maintain accurate records, logs and general site administration. •Promote a warm, welcoming and high-quality living environment. •Undertake other reasonable duties in line with the needs of the site. Person Specification •Excellent communication and rapport-building skills. •Strong customer service experience in a front-facing environment. •Confident working with residents, visitors and external contacts. •Good IT skills, including familiarity with social media platforms. •Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple priorities. •Professional, approachable and proactive in style.
