The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you’ll manage and develop your own portfolio of commercial clients, providing tailored insurance advice across a wide range of risks.
You will play a key role in strengthening existing relationships, handling renewals, identifying growth opportunities, and driving client retention.
This role would suit someone who thrives in a customer-focused environment, enjoys building long-term partnerships, and has a proactive, consultative approach.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
• Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments and all client enquiries
• Identify and convert new business opportunities through consultative selling
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
• Collaborate with underwriting teams to secure appropriate cover and terms
• Maintain accurate, compliant records using CRM and internal systems
• Cross-sell complementary products such as financial and risk management services
About You
• Experience in insurance, financial services or a client-facing advisory environment
• Commercial insurance experience is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Proactive, professional and confident in managing your own workload
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (role involves some client visits)
