Accounts Assistant

Our client based in Colchester (Great Tey) is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team on a temporary basis for roughly 4-6 weeks with the potential to extend. This role is to begin on Monday, 13th July, however candidates must be available the week prior for 1 days training/handover. Duties will include: • Processing and posting invoices • Basic bookkeeping duties • Knowledge of VAT and CIS would be an advantage • Ad-hoc finance administrative duties • Covering reception (incoming calls and assisting visitors to the building) Candidate requirements: • Previous experience in a similar role • Use of Xero would be advantageous • Ability to commit to the days and times required • Own transport due to company location Monday-Friday, 8:30am-2:30pm with 30 minutes lunch £13.50-£13.80 per hour Huntress does not discriminate on the grounds of age, race, gender, disability, creed or sexual orientation and complies with all relevant UK legislation.
