Accounts Assistant
Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 | Southwest London | Office based, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
A leading international company is recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join its friendly finance team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounts administration or data processing experience who is looking to develop a career in finance. Experience with SAP Business One or a similar ERP system is desirable.

Based in modern offices in Southwest London, you'll support the AP/AR Manager with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, credit control and finance administration. This varied role provides excellent exposure across the finance function within a growing international business. The interview process consists of a face-to-face meeting at the Southwest London office.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator:
• Process supplier invoices and ensure they are entered accurately and within reporting deadlines.
• Assist with supplier and customer account reconciliations.
• Create and maintain supplier and customer accounts within SAP, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date.
• Update customer contact information, credit terms and account details.
• Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice coding and credit control administration.
• Process UK credit card expenses.
• Manage finance email inboxes, responding to queries or escalating where appropriate.
• Assist with customer credit control, contacting customers regarding outstanding balances and escalating overdue accounts when required.
• Support order processing and work closely with Customer Service on finance-related queries.
• Carry out general accounts administration, record keeping, filing and data processing.
Skills and experience of the Accounts Administrator:
• Previous experience in an accounts administration, finance administration or data processing role would be beneficial.
• Experience using SAP Business One or a similar ERP system would be advantageous.
• Basic accounting qualification desirable.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
