Accounts Payable Clerk

Description • Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently • Matching, batching and coding invoices for payment • Preparing and processing weekly and monthly payment runs • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries promptly • Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders • Supporting month-end close activities and reporting requirements • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company procedures • Assisting with process improvements across the Accounts Payable function • Supporting the wider finance team as required Profile A successful Accounts Payable professional should have: • Previous Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger experience • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management abilities • Good Excel skills and experience using finance systems • Proactive, positive and keen to contribute to a growing team Job Offer • Salary of £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience • Hybrid working available • Excellent career development and progression opportunities • Ongoing training and support • Join a successful and expanding retail business during an exciting period of growth • Competitive benefits package If you are based in South Manchester and have the skills to excel as an Accounts Payable professional in the retail sector, we encourage you to apply now!
