Administrative Assistant Abingdon £28,000 – £30,000 per annum Full-time, Permanent (35 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm) Reed Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an excellent client to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join their friendly and professional team in Abingdon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual looking to build a long-term career within a supportive environment, gaining exposure across both HR and Finance functions. The Role As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the management team and ensuring the smooth running of administrative processes across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Administration & Support • Maintaining HR databases and personnel records • Assisting with recruitment coordination • Organising staff training, liaising with providers, and maintaining records • Arranging locum cover with departments and external agencies • Coordinating work experience placements • Supporting monthly payroll processes • Processing and inputting supplier invoices Compliance & Quality • Assisting with health & safety documentation and compliance tasks • Supporting regulatory compliance processes • Attending relevant training and conferences where required Management Team Support • Assisting with onboarding new starters and supporting inductions • Supporting policy updates and risk assessments • Attending meetings and providing administrative input where needed About You We are looking for someone who is: • Experienced in an administrative role, ideally within a professional environment • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Confident communicating with a range of stakeholders • Able to prioritise workload and work independently • Trustworthy, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Available to work fully office-based in Abingdon, Monday to Friday What’s on Offer • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays • Company sick pay scheme • Cycle to Work scheme • Discounted legal and estate agency services • Your birthday off every year • BUPA Private Medical Healthcare • 5% employer pension contribution • A supportive team environment with genuine career development opportunities Why Apply?
