Job description

We are looking for a proactive and organised Senior Administration Assistant to join our busy HR & People Hub team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and supporting the recruitment and onboarding of new employees. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring a smooth and compliant onboarding process for new starters, supporting a range of pre-employment checks and maintaining accurate records across multiple systems. Key Responsibilities • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for new employees. • Coordinating and processing pre-employment compliance checks, including DBS checks, vehicle checks and professional registration verification for social care professionals. • Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation across multiple systems and spreadsheets. • Liaising with candidates, managers and external organisations to ensure onboarding activities are completed efficiently. • Providing administrative support to the wider HR & People Hub team. • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. • About You We are looking for someone who: • Has strong administrative experience, ideally within recruitment, HR, onboarding or a business support environment. • Has excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. • Is a quick learner who can confidently manage multiple priorities and systems. • Possesses excellent communication and customer service skills. • Is comfortable working with complex IT systems and large volumes of data. • Ideally has experience using Oracle or similar HR/recruitment systems.
