Milton Keynes College is seeking a dedicated and motivated Administrator to join our education team based at HMP Bullingdon, on a Fixed Term Contract, to support the running of the team. In this rewarding role, you will act as an ambassador for education, encouraging students to engage with learning programmes and supporting them in achieving their personal and academic goals.
You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, including data entry, record keeping, and reporting. This will involve delivering inductions for new learners, administering English and maths assessments, and ensuring the smooth running of processes that support the student experience. A key part of the role will be analysing student recruitment, retention and achievement data, as well as preparing monthly reports and funding returns for the College.
You will also provide guidance to students in selecting suitable courses and support the allocation process by carrying out ICT and paper-based assessments. Confidence in promoting the benefits of education is essential, as you will play an active role in student recruitment and programme marketing. Working in close partnership with HMPPS and other agencies, you will contribute to the development and delivery of effective support services for learners.
We are looking for a highly organised professional with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to daily tasks. Strong administrative and data management skills are essential, as well as the ability to communicate clearly and build constructive relationships with both learners and colleagues. This is a varied and rewarding position in which you will have the opportunity to make a genuine difference, helping to raise aspirations and support students in a long-term, high-security establishment to transform their lives through education.
