Administrator • Job Type: Temporary, Part-time (3 day work week) • Location: Bolton, Lancashire, BL2 2JW • Duration: 3-4 months • Pay: £13.74 per hour PAYE • Working Hours: 9am - 5pm (Office Based) Bolton Council are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join their Children's Social Care administration team at the Bolton Family. This role involves supporting the Child Protection Unit by scheduling Initial and Review Conferences. The role is key to ensuring the smooth running of our services and offers a variety of engaging tasks. Day-to-day of the role: • Preparing and sending out invite letters for Child Protection conferences, including verifying attendees and booking rooms. • Re-arranging conferences and sending updates to attendees as required. • Collating requests for reports, ensuring they are received in time for the relevant conference. • Sending out notifications of discontinued or stepped-down plans. • Checking GP involvement and updating records accordingly. • Actioning Transfer-in requests. • Monitoring the Child Protection Unit inbox and dealing with or signposting any queries as required. • Adding and updating case notes to the relevant child’s record on the Liquid Logic database. • Joining a committed team that is proud of the service they deliver to help children, young people, and families achieve their potential. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Effective communication skills, capable of presenting information both verbally and in writing. • Ability to work as part of a team and independently. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan, develop, and prioritise work. • Proficiency in using computer software packages such as Word, Excel, and Outlook to produce accurate, well-presented documents. • Excellent literacy skills to ensure correct information is collated and processed.
