Location: Tamworth Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break) Job Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm Salary: £12.71 per hour Our client, a well-established logistics provider based in Tamworth, is looking to recruit an experienced Administrator to join their busy operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual with administration experience in a logistics, transport or supply chain environment. You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operation, working across multiple customer accounts to ensure high levels of service, accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support across multiple customer accounts. • Prepare and process invoicing and supporting documentation. • Manage transport invoices using Basware. • Coordinate transport requests to ensure customer OTIF (On Time In Full) requirements are achieved. • Ensure all warehouse and transport documentation is completed accurately and on time. • Respond promptly to customer enquiries and requests within agreed service levels. • Investigate and assist with resolving non-conformances. • Build strong working relationships with customers, suppliers and transport providers. • Attend daily operational briefings and participate in ongoing training and development. What We're Looking For • Previous administration experience, ideally within logistics, transport or supply chain. • Experience working within retail contract logistics would be advantageous. • Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail. • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office. • Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships. • Able to work independently and as part of a team. • Experience using a WMS system.
