Adult’s Senior Social Worker, Front Door Team, North Lincolnshire Pay rate to £38 per hour Contract role, Social Care Connect Team Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Adult’s Social Worker in the Scunthorpe area. This is to work in a Social Care Connect Team The Social Care Connect Team is the front door for Adult Social Care at North Lincolnshire Council. As a Senior Social Worker within SCCT, you will: • Manage and oversee the transfer of complex and occasionally contentious cases, working effectively with a range of stakeholders who may have differing priorities. • Allocate short-term interventions and planned assessment work promptly and appropriately to ensure effective service delivery. • Review worker caseloads and workflow trays to ensure work progresses in a timely manner and aligns with the Adult Social Care Model of Working. • Facilitate regular Model of Working and transfer meetings to identify cases suitable for progression to long-term teams. • Authorise Mental Capacity Act (MCA) assessments, V3 assessments, and BID workflows through the management system to support effective decision-making and service delivery. • Maintain oversight of transfer, allocation, and review workflows, ensuring cases are risk-rated, organised, and progressed with clear plans in place. • Attend and contribute to weekly transfer meetings to support timely movement of cases to the most appropriate long-term service. • Support the management of duty workflows and assist in maintaining effective service responsiveness. • Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to social work staff, supporting professional development and promoting good practice. • Work collaboratively with fellow Senior Social Workers and managers to ensure a consistent and united approach across the service.
