Adults Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

We are looking for an experienced social worker with proven track record of working with individuals with a learning disability or who are neurodiverse. Please note this is a 37 hour a week contract Monday to Friday for 3 months. The candidate will need to be able to confidently undertake lone working home visits to individuals, and will be expected to be office based at the Civic a minimum of one day a week. This role will be in our Learning Disability and neurodiversity team. -Undertaking Care Act assessments -Leading on S42 safeguarding enquiries -Undertaking robust evidence based Mental Capacity Assessment, and be confident in evidencing best interest decision -Confidence and excellent understanding of the Care Act and mental Capacity Act -Excellent time management skills -Excellent recording skills -Excellent communication skills -Ability to respond calmly to high risk, high demand situations
