Job description

• To provide a full range of clerical duties as directed by the Information and Clerical Support Co-ordinator and advice Line Team Leader using IT skills including spread sheets, word processing, emails, electronic patient record processes, scanning and retrieval of information using a variety of systems. • To manage telephone calls to the advice line, processing these from professionals and families, directing to the advice line team for response where appropriate. • General office administration including filing and the management of electronic and paper information • To work as part of a team and to carry outs tasks set by the line manager or Advice Line Team Leader. • To have an understanding of GDPR, Patient confidentiality, Risk Management and Health and Safety Procedures and guidelines. • To manage the generic email box, ensuring appropriate communication response and dissemination and processing of client information • To advise the HV/SN, Team Leader of any concerns relating to safeguarding of risk to vulnerable adults in line with policy The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment and promote safeguarding by implementing the Trusts policies and procedures, acting promptly on concerns, communicating effectively and sharing information appropriately. If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £26.50.
