Air Conditioning Engineer - Facilities Management We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing facilities management company for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join their engineering team covering London. The Role Working across a varied portfolio of commercial properties, you'll be responsible for carrying out air conditioning installations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing, fault finding and reactive repairs on a wide range of air conditioning systems. This is a field-based role where you'll work independently while being supported by an experienced engineering team, delivering a consistently high standard of workmanship and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities • Carry out the installation of air conditioning systems. • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits. • Service and maintain a wide range of air conditioning equipment. • Diagnose faults and carry out reactive repairs. • Commission new installations where required. • Complete all job reports accurately using a PDA/mobile device. • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with current Health & Safety legislation and industry regulations. • Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all times. Essential • Previous experience carrying out air conditioning installations, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and reactive repairs. • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or equivalent) in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. • F-Gas Category 1 Certification. • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. • Full UK Driving Licence. • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. Desirable • Previous experience working within the Facilities Management sector. • Experience working on commercial properties. • Experience with split, multi-split, VRV/VRF and other commercial air conditioning systems. • IPAF and/or PASMA qualifications. • Manufacturer training with Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Toshiba, LG, Panasonic or similar. • 18th Edition or other electrical qualifications would be advantageous.
