Air Import / Export Operations CoordinatorLocation: Hounslow Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 About the RoleAn established international freight forwarding business is looking to recruit an experienced Air Import / Export Operations Coordinator to join its busy operations team in Hounslow. This is a hands-on operational role where you'll be responsible for managing international air freight shipments from start to finish, ensuring customers receive an efficient and reliable service while maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate end-to-end air import and export shipments. • Arrange airline bookings and monitor shipments through to final delivery. • Prepare import, export and customs documentation. • Liaise with customers, airlines, overseas agents and transport providers. • Track and trace shipments, resolving any operational issues promptly. • Ensure accurate job costing, billing and shipment records. • Maintain compliance with customs and aviation security requirements. • Deliver excellent customer service while meeting operational KPIs. About YouTo be successful in this role, you'll have: • A minimum of 2 years' experience within air freight forwarding. • Experience handling air imports, exports or both. • A strong understanding of international freight documentation and customs procedures. • Excellent organisational and communication skills. • The ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment. • A proactive, customer-focused approach.
