Air Export Perishables Operations Coordinator (Night Shift) Location: Heathrow Area Salary: Up to £42,000 DOE + benefits A leading logistics provider based in the Heathrow area is seeking an experienced Air Export Perishables Operations Coordinator to join their growing night shift team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Air Export professional to join a specialist perishables operation, managing time-critical shipments and delivering high levels of customer service from booking through to final destination. The successful candidate will have strong air export experience and be confident managing shipments, documentation, airline bookings, and customer requirements within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Manage the end-to-end coordination of air export perishables shipments • Process and prepare export documentation, including AWBs and shipment paperwork • Make bookings with airlines and coordinate shipment movements • Arrange collections and deliveries with customers, warehouses, and suppliers • Complete customs entries where required • Handle invoicing activities where applicable • Maintain accurate shipment records across operational systems • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, airlines, and third-party suppliers • Ensure consistently high levels of customer satisfaction • Work closely with internal teams to meet deadlines and operational requirements • Support improvements to processes, systems, and customer experience Candidate Requirements: • Previous experience within air freight exports is essential • Perishables experience would be highly advantageous • Strong understanding of air freight processes and export documentation • Excellent communication skills with confidence speaking to customers and suppliers • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills • Ability to manage time-sensitive shipments and work to strict deadlines • Computer literate with experience using operational systems • Interest in technology, systems, and AI beneficial • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team Package & Benefits: • Salary up to £45,000 DOE (flexibility available for exceptional candidates) • Night shift: 8PM – 8AM • 24 days holiday • Pension scheme • Long service holiday and salary rewards • Retailer discounts • WeCare support helpline • Volunteering days A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Air Export Operator looking to develop their career within a specialist perishables environment at Heathrow.
