Air Freight Import Coordinator – Feltham Our client is seeking an experienced Air Freight Import Coordinator to join their established freight forwarding team based in Feltham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in air freight imports who is looking to develop their knowledge across all areas of multimodal freight forwarding, including air, sea, road, exports, and courier services. Key Responsibilities • Manage air freight import shipments from start to finish. • Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, airlines, and transport providers. • Prepare and process import documentation. • Support sea freight and export operations when required. • Develop knowledge across all modes of transport as part of a multimodal operation. • Provide occasional support with local collections and deliveries during periods of driver annual leave. Essential Requirements • Minimum 5 years' experience in air freight imports. • Sea freight knowledge would be advantageous. • Export experience is desirable but not essential. • A willingness to learn and develop across all areas of multimodal freight forwarding. • Live locally to Feltham or within a reasonable commuting distance. • Full UK driving license (essential). The role includes occasional local driving duties to provide holiday cover for the driver's annual leave, involving the collection of small packages from a local location and delivery to courier depots near Heathrow. • Hands-on, flexible approach with a willingness to support the wider operation when required.
