Airport Warehouse & Cargo Operatives – East Midlands Airport Complete Workforce Solutions is building a talent pool of reliable warehouse and cargo operatives for upcoming opportunities at East Midlands Airport. The positions will support busy e-commerce, parcel and air-cargo operations. Previous airport experience is helpful but not essential, as candidates with strong warehouse, parcel, freight or distribution experience will also be considered. Warehouse duties may include: • Receiving, sorting and scanning parcels • Separating goods by destination or customer • Loading and unloading consignments • Moving goods safely around the warehouse • Preparing parcels for onward distribution • Working towards productivity and accuracy targets • Following site procedures and security requirements Cargo duties may include: • Building and breaking down cargo pallets • Handling pallets and ULDs • Sorting and scanning freight • Preparing cargo for aircraft movements • Moving freight between operational areas • Identifying and reporting damaged cargo • Following aviation-security and cargo-handling procedures • Completing basic operational paperwork Indicative shifts • Morning: 6:00am–3:00pm • Late: 3:00pm–12:00am • Weekend availability may be required Applicants should have: • Previous warehouse, logistics, parcel or freight experience • Good attendance and timekeeping • The ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment • Reliable transport to East Midlands Airport • The right to work in the UK • The ability to complete DBS, background and security checks where required • Flexibility to work early, late and weekend shifts Cargo applicants should ideally have previous freight, pallet-building, airport warehouse or air-cargo experience.
