The school is committed to delivering a broad and engaging Creative Arts curriculum, encouraging students to explore a range of artistic techniques, develop their creative thinking and build confidence through visual expression. Job Overview: • This school caters for students aged 11-16. • Full-time, Monday - Friday, Art Teacher • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons across KS3 and KS4. • Inspire students through creative, practical and imaginative teaching that develops artistic skills, critical thinking and individual expression. • Assess, monitor and track student progress to ensure strong attainment and positive outcomes. • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where all students can develop their creativity and achieve their potential. You will play a key role in nurturing students' creativity, developing their technical skills and encouraging them to appreciate the visual arts while building confidence, resilience and independent thinking. What we're looking for: • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. • A degree in Art, Fine Art, Art & Design or a closely related subject. • Experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4 within a secondary school. • A passion for Art and the ability to engage, motivate and challenge learners of all abilities. • Strong classroom management and organisational skills. • A proactive, positive and collaborative approach to teaching and learning. • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
