Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor Location: Bristol Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established asbestos consultancy in their search for an experienced Asbestos Surveyor to join their team covering Bristol and the wider South West. THE ROLEAs an Asbestos Surveyor, you will carry out asbestos surveys across a range of commercial and mixed-use properties throughout Bristol and the South West. Working independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high-quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES* Carrying out Management, Refurbishment & Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264 * Working across commercial and mixed-use properties * Conducting bulk asbestos sampling and ensuring company procedures are followed correctly * Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports * Managing your own workload effectively across multiple client sites * Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams * Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR* BOHS P402 qualification (or equivalent) * Experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS-accredited consultancy * Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation * Ability to manage your workload independently * Full UK driving licence * Excellent communication, organisational, and report-writing skills * Professional, reliable, and quality-focused approach to work WHAT'S ON OFFER* £32,000 - £35,000 salary (depending on experience) * Company vehicle provided * Steady, well-planned workload * Supportive management and clear operational processes * Long-term, secure position with a respected consultancy * Genuine career progression opportunities If you are interested in this role, contact Joel Bland on or email
