Assembly Operative Location: Hythe Contract: Temporary to Permanent Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour, reviewed after 3 months Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm Join our client’s team as an Assembly Operative and contribute to the efficient assembly of products using a variety of tools. Day-to-day of the role: • Utilize handheld tools such as drills, screwdrivers and hammers to assemble components into finished products. • Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures to meet production timelines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment. • Conduct quality control checks on assembled products to ensure they meet the required standards. • Collaborate with team members to optimize assembly processes and enhance productivity. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Comfortable with manual handling and the physical aspects of the role. • Ability to use basic handheld tools effectively. • Previous experience in assembly, factory work, or related fields is desirable. • A strong interest or background in practical subjects or a passion for hands-on work. • Due to the location, having your own transport is ideal.
