Job Title: QA/QC inspector Location: Lympne, Kent Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00AM - 5:00PM Are you ready to take the next step in your career? About the Role: As an QA/QC inspector, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high-quality standards across our production lines. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will ensure that our products not only meet company specifications but exceed customer expectations. You'll work closely with our production teams to identify quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions. What You'll Be Doing: • Conducting quality inspections across multiple production lines to ensure specifications and standards are met. • Inspecting finished goods and work-in-progress products, identifying defects or non-conformance's. • Rejecting products that do not meet quality requirements and ensuring proper documentation. • Investigating quality issues directly on the production line and collaborating with operators to implement solutions. • Monitoring production processes to maintain consistent quality standards. • Maintaining accurate inspection records and quality documentation. • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and root cause investigations. • Promoting a strong quality culture throughout the organisation. Health & Safety Responsibilities: • Supporting compliance with health and safety policies and procedures. • Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards. • Reporting health and safety concerns promptly. • Encouraging safe working practises across production areas. • Maintaining a clean and organised working environment. What We're Looking For: • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inspection, Manufacturing, or Production is a must. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards. • Confidence to challenge quality issues and make decisions on product acceptance. • Excellent problem-solving skills to effectively investigate root causes. • Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit. • Good organisational skills and meticulous record-keeping abilities. • Understanding of health and safety requirements in a manufacturing setting. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. • A proactive, hands-on approach to quality improvement.
