Job Overview
Our Maintenance team provides ongoing planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services, helping clients ensure their workplaces and building services continue to operate safely, efficiently and reliably. Drawing on extensive experience across the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) sector, we deliver premium building services maintenance without the premium price tag.

Reporting to the Head of Department, the Assistant Account Manager plays a key role in supporting the successfuldelivery of maintenance contracts and client relationships.
Working closely with the Account Manager and wider Maintenance team, you will assist in managing a portfolio of clients, helping to deliver planned preventative maintenance programmes, reactive maintenance services and M&E small works projects.
The role requires a strong customer-focused approach, commercial awareness and the ability to understand and communicate technical M&E information clearly. You will help ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality while supporting client retention, business growth and overall contract performance.
Key responsibilities
Business Development
• Support the AccountManager in securingnew maintenance contractsfrom existing and newly completed fit-out projects across the Group.
• Assist in developing relationships with Facilities Managers, Property Managersand targeted business parks and commercial buildings.
• Contribute to the processof securing new external maintenance contracts.
• Support the Account Manager in ensuring contracts are commercially viable, renewed where appropriate, and developed to maximise businessopportunities and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to expand serviceswithin existing clientaccounts.
Contract Management
• Assist in scheduling, preparingfor and attending client meetings.
• Produce monthlyand quarterly reports for client review meetings.
• Work closely with Coordinators and Engineers to ensure all necessary information is available for client reviews and service reporting.
• Support the management of contract costs to ensure profitability whilst maintaining quality and service standards.
• Assist in ensuring Joblogic contract information is accurate and up to date, including:
• Contract renewals
• PPM schedules
• Specialist maintenance visits
• Quotations
• Purchase orders
• Support the management of contract variations, ensuring client approvals, supplier coordination and accurate costing.
• Work closely with the Supervising Engineer to coordinate site audits, ensuring:
• Logbooks are maintained
• Certification is accurateand current
• Timesheetsare completed correctly
• Works are delivered safely and to a high standard
• Assist in the delivery of M&E small works projects from initiation through to completion, in line with company procedures.
• Support project profitability by monitoring costs, performance and outcomes against company targets.
• Liaise with the wider team to ensure risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) are in place where required.
Coordination & Team Support
• Work closely with Maintenance Coordinators, providing day-to-day supportacross the client portfolio.
• Conduct regular reviewswith Maintenance Coordinators to ensure contracts are being serviced effectively and client expectations are being met.
• Assist in compilingcontractual PPM schedules, quotations and supporting documentation ready for implementation within Joblogic.
• Support the continual improvement of internal processesand documentation, including:
• Contract setup procedures
• Joblogic implementation templates
• Handover documentation
• Client reporting templates
• Operational processguides

Experience within facilities management, building services, maintenance or construction would be advantageous but is not essential.
