Assistant Property Agent

Your new company An established and independent firm of Chartered Surveyors and Property Agents is seeking an Assistant Property Agent to join their growing team. Operating across Essex and Hertfordshire, the firm advises on a diverse range of commercial property matters across the region. You will be based from their office on the Essex/Hertfordshire border. Your new role This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic individual looking to develop a career in commercial property. Within the role you will gain hands-on experience across a varied portfolio of instructions, including industrial premises, offices, retail units, farm buildings and other commercial assets. Responsibilities will include inspecting, measuring and assessing commercial properties for sale, letting and acquisition purposes, assisting with valuations and market appraisals, and preparing marketing particulars, reports and supporting documentation. This role will also involve accompanying and conducting property viewings for prospective purchases and tenants, negotiating terms on behalf of clients and liaising with solicitors and occupiers throughout the transaction process to completion. What you'll need to succeed In order to be successful for this role, you should have prior experience in commercial agency, estate agency, business development, sales or a customer-facing commercial environment. The successful applicant will have an interest in commercial property and should have strong communication and interpersonal skills. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use is essential.
