Assistant Supply Chain Manager with Demand Planning Location: Office-Based (5 Days Per Week, no hybrid) Job Type: Permanent We are seeking an experienced Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join a growing business within the food sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a supply chain professional with a strong background in food manufacturing, FMCG or food distribution and proven expertise in Demand Planning. Key Responsibilities: • Support the management of end-to-end supply chain operations. • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to optimise stock levels and service performance. • Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations and Logistics teams to align supply with customer demand. • Monitor inventory levels, identify risks, and implement corrective actions. • Analyse supply chain data and present actionable insights to improve forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency. • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain function. Requirements: • Previous experience within a food supply chain environment is essential. • Strong Demand Planning and forecasting experience.- Essential • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good Excel.- Essential • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
