This is a great opportunity for an Audit Senior who enjoys leading assignments, working closely with clients, and supporting junior team members while continuing to develop their own technical expertise. Responsibilities: As an Audit Senior, you will… • Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and sign-off. • Supervise, support and review the work of junior team members. • Communicate directly with clients, managing timelines, budgets and expectations. • Review financial statements, assess internal controls and identify audit risks. • Handle more complex audit areas including group audits, acquisitions and restructures. Requirements: As an Audit Senior, you will need… • Previous experience working in audit within an accountancy practice. • To be studying towards ACA / ACCA / CA, be qualified, or be qualified by experience. • Strong knowledge of UK accounting and auditing standards, including Companies Act requirements. • Confidence leading audits, managing multiple deadlines and working directly with clients. • The ability to identify risk, solve problems and escalate technical matters where needed.
