Audit Senior | Liverpool | Circa £40,000 | Flexible Working | 36 Days Leave Looking for a role where you can take the lead on audits and genuinely move your career forward? I'm working with a progressive, expanding accountancy firm in Liverpool that's seeking an Audit Senior to join its growing team. This is an ideal step for someone who's ACA/ACCA qualified (or close to it) and wants more responsibility, more client interaction and a clearer pathway to advancement. This isn't your standard audit position-you'll manage your own portfolio, work closely with clients, support junior colleagues and be part of a practice that truly invests in developing its people. What You'll Be Doing • Taking charge of audit assignments from planning through to completion, overseeing budgets, timelines, fieldwork and final reporting across a varied client base • Building and maintaining strong client relationships as a trusted adviser • Reviewing work and guiding junior team members, helping them strengthen their audit and accounts skills • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies • Ensuring all assignments are delivered efficiently, accurately and to a high technical standard What We're Looking For • ACA/ACCA qualified (or nearly qualified) • Minimum of 3 years' experience within an accountancy practice • Solid understanding of UK audit and accounting standards • Confident leading audits and managing client relationships • Full UK driving licence What's in It for You?
